5770 siaway - self-adhesive anti-slip tape

For universal use, the anti-slip tape 5770 siaway is the cost-effective, quick and safe solution to prevent accidents caused by tripping, slipping or falling.

Can be used in industrial, commercial and private areas which are heavily walked on and/or subject to light vehicle traffic.

Smooth, wet or oily floors are a safety hazard. Laying slip-resistant floor coverings can help guard against this risk.

    Conversion forms
    5770 siaway is available as 20m rolls in six widths. Individual shapes can be cut to size using a cutter or scissors.

    Directives and guidelines
    The 5770 siaway anti-slip tape has been developed with the highest quality standards in mind. The following European Directives and national guidelines have been examined and fulfilled.

    a. Anti-slip properties:
    - Anti-slip properties in accordance with DIN 51130
      & BRG 181
      BGIA assessment: - evaluation group for anti-slip 
      properties: R13
      - overall mean angle of inclination: 40
      - Resistance to sliding in accordance with bfu inspection 
        regulation R9729 & CEN-TC 134
        EMPA assessment:  GS 4

    b. Fire:
    - Fire classification in accordance with DIN EN 13 501-1
      Material testing laboratory assessment: Cfl-s1

    c. Health:
    - EU Directive 89/654/EEC concerning the minimum safety
      and health requirements for the workplace

    d. Adhesion
    - High adhesiveness and tensile strength in accordance with a
      test performed according to the AFERA 5001 method after
      24 hours: 27.4 N / 25 mm
    - Long water immersion up to delamination of glass/aluminium,
      Test according to the AFERA 5001 method:  four weeks
