sia Fibral can now offer you two types of siastrip disc; we have the siastrip and the siastrip plus. These products are designed for cleaning and stripping the work piece, doing so without excessive stock removal, thus leaving a clean manageable surface to work on. The open structure of our siastrip products make them ideal for many applications and assist in its resistance to loading.
Series 6300 siastrip Our standard siastrip incorporates an extra coarse silicon carbide grit bonded to rigid open fibres and is black in colour. This product is recommended for stripping paint; it is especially good in the Automotive sector for removing paint from car bodywork made from carbon steel.
Series 6300 siastrip plus* The siastrip plus is the red siastrip disc and is used on Inox (stainless steel) for removing blueing from tig welds. Like the black siastrip it is also recommended for use in the Automotive sector, but for paint removal on aluminium panels. Both siastrip products are available in the following disc forms: spindle mounted, Type 27 fibreglass backed, siafix and mandrel mounted.
