Today, sia Abrasives uses only water-based bonding systems. These are mainly made with phenolic and urea resins with additives of different dispersions to impart flexibility to suit the application.
These systems enable us to manufacture both very tough, high-performance abrasives and extremely flexible finishing products.
Animal glues are used only in very rare cases nowadays.
