sia Abrasives Holding AG’s Annual General Meeting on 9 April 2008 approved all proposals put forward by the Board of Directors. Shareholders will receive an unchanged dividend of CHF 12.00 per registered share.
The 29th Annual General Meeting of sia Abrasives Holding AG held at the Frauenfeld Stadtcasino on 9 April 2008 was attended by 339 shareholders holding 333,598 votes or 45.9% of the total registered shares entitled to vote. The Annual General Meeting approved all proposals put forward by the Board and discharged the Directors and Executive Committee from liability for the 2007 financial year. Shareholders will receive an unchanged dividend of CHF 12.00 per registered share, underscoring the policy of sustaining an attractive payout. The Annual General Meeting approved the annual report, company financial statements and consolidated financial statements for 2007 as presented. Hans-Ulrich Spiess, Martin Bernet, Ernst Kessler and Jürgen Rauen were reappointed to the Board for another three-year term. PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, Winterthur, will act as statutory and Group auditors for a further year.
